X.1 Accesing new Themes

Some places to download themes (some are for free, others are for paid). Please take care of the Magento CE version (1.9.3.x) before install a theme or extension.

X.2 Installing a Magento free theme

Steps:

1. Login to Magento Connect site
2. Get Extension Key and accept terms and conditions
3. The key is: magento-community/magento_classic_theme_free
4. Use it in Magento Connect from Admin Panel and Install it
5. The extension appers in the list ready to install
6. Clear cache and sessions
7. Sometimes this procedure leads to an error

X.2.1 Using Freegento

There is another way to download and install themes and extensions. Steps are:

1. Got to http://freegento.com/ddl-magento-extension.php
2. Copy and Paste the key get from Magento Connect site
3. Download the zip files: magento_classic_theme_free-1.4.1.2.tgz
4. Into Magento Connect Manager, select the file and upload it
5. All must finish well

X.2.2 Manual Installation

When theme is not fully customized for being used in Magento, it is possible to install it anyway in a manual installation.
